Welcome to Kim Loberg Studio, home of original Artwork, Designs and illustrations by Nebraska artist Kim Loberg.
Much of my artwork can be described as boldly colorful, whimsical and (sometimes) a little zany. My art ranges from realistic wildlife and fantasy animals to off-beat, innovative creatures that are my own original creations and has been collected worldwide. Please, feel free to explore my Etsy shop or visit my blog spot for a chat. Thank you for stopping by! ~ Kim

Bio: I am a professional Nebraska artist who makes part of my living selling my original art and craftwork via the Internet. I have been drawing since pre-school years and learned to oil paint at age 14 from a neighbor who taught me how to paint realistic wildlife animals. Kim Loberg Studio is the name of my business where I create artwork in a variety of mediums including pencil, ink, pastels, acrylics, oil paints, and watercolors. Being both a seamstress and crafter at heart, I also “sculpt” with needle and thread in fabric and add wood and clay to bring to life whimsical, zany creatures in 3D. My art and craftwork has been collected worldwide and most collectors know me for my carousel horses, hippocampus, animals, fantasy, and wildlife, which are my favorite subjects.
I went back to college as a non-traditional student and now have a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art from Wayne State College and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Management-Entrepreneurship. (It’s never too late to reach for the stars and realize your dreams!). My artwork has been exhibited at the Miniature Art Show at Prairie Winds Art Center in Grand Island, Nebraska, the NNAA Spring Art Show, at the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission State Habitat Art Contest and the 24th Annual Wyoming conservation Stamp Art Competition, Sale & Show, The Norfolk Arts Center Juried Art Competition and at Wayne State College's Juried Student Fall 2007 & 2008, Spring 2008 & 2009 shows and the 2009 Senior Exhibit Art Show.
